I wanted to take a minute to share a little about myself because it is so important to me that we build a relationship. If you want to create relaxed, genuine images on your wedding day, you don't need just another vendor - you need a friend! Making new friends is my favorite part of this job!
I'm a Christ-following ministry wife and homeschooling mama of three little ones. We love hiking, playing outside, reading (they love Harry Potter but so far I'm the only Hufflepuff), and playing with our puppy Everest. I love baking but I hate cleaning the kitchen, and I'm definitely a night owl so don't feel bad about emailing me after 10.
I love creating bright, vibrant, and timeless images of my couples, but more than that I love building friendships with my brides. The more comfortable you are with me, the more relaxed and confident you’ll be on camera on your wedding day. That starts with a little gift from me at booking, and continues with a complimentary engagement session (so we can practice posing and get to know each other) and then a timeline/planning consultation 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. On your wedding day, we’ll already know each other well and know what poses work best for you and your husband-to-be! I’ll do a mixture of posed portraits and also document candid moments throughout the day, but most importantly, you'll feel like a friend walked in the room when I arrive! Contract & Retainer
Step one is making us official! As soon as you let me know which package you want to book, I'll send over your contract. After we've both signed the contract and you've paid your retainer, we can move on to the fun things!
I'll send you a copy of my bridal planning magazine ASAP so we can start talking about your engagement session and planning for your big day! I'll help you choose your wardrobe for the engagement session and curate a timeline with you so your wedding day is smooth and stress-free!
Your Engagement Session
Your engagement session is one of my favorite aspects of the bridal experience. We'll take our time to get to know each other, practice the poses we'll use on your wedding day, and create some beautiful images to commemorate a sweet time in your life!
When I arrive, I'll give you a hug, introduce my assistant or second photographer, and get to work documenting all of the details of the day! I'll be there with you all day, making sure you're drinking water, and photographing all of the beautiful moments for you.

I just need a little bit of information to send your contract over! After you fill in this form, I'll e-mail you a contract to review. Once we've both signed and you've paid your $750 retainer, we'll move on to the fun stuff, and I'll get your booking gift straight into the mail! <3

How many images should I expect to recieve?
This just depends on your day! On average, I deliver about 75 images per hour of coverage. You should expect your images to be delivered to you via online gallery within 8 weeks of your wedding date.
Do you require a deposit to book my date?
A $750 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date.
What's included with the engagement session?
A new friendship! Engagement sessions are the BEST way for me to get to know you and get you comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Meeting you before your wedding means you'll feel like a friend walked in when I arrive on the big day, not a stranger. These sessions are usually around 90 minutes. You can bring multiple outfits if you'd like, and you'll receive 40+ digital images. Engagement sessions (including up to 150 miles round trip travel) are complimentary with any completed full day (6+ hour) wedding package, but you can also choose to add one to an hourly package if you're interested!
Are any prints included in my package?
If you're anything like me, sometimes photos live on your computer for YEARS without being printed. While there aren't any printed products included in my current packages, I want to make creating art from your images as simple as possible! I provide a full store attached to your online gallery, and I have samples of everything I offer ready for you to view.
Do I need a second shooter?
This just depends on what you want photographed! If your wedding has lots of intricate, planned details, I highly recommend having a second photographer to get extra shots of all of those details. Having a second shooter also makes it more likely that we'll be able to get photos of the groom and groomsmen getting ready. She will also take more candid images of your guests and different angles of portraits.
What type of lighting do you use?
While I prefer to work with natural light for portraits, I am confident with off-camera lighting for indoor "getting ready" photos and reception images. I try not to use any lighting for the ceremony because I find it distracting to the couple and guests. If your ceremony venue has any tricky lighting scenarios, we can discuss that at your timeline consultation.
Can you tell me more about the albums?
I LOVE these albums! The images are gorgeously printed, and there are so many cover options for you to choose from to match your personal style. They are a beautiful way to share the story of your day for decades to come! You'll choose your favorite images to include, I'll design the spreads, and you'll approve it before I order for you! So easy!
Do you travel?
I love to travel! Anything outside of 150 miles of Salem, AL is subject to a travel fee, which covers fuel (and a hotel stay if necessary).
Does anyone come to the wedding with you?
If you book a package with a second photographer, she will be there with me! If not, I may or may not have an assistant with me that day.
Can we set up a payment plan?
Absolutely! Just let me know you're interested in one and I'll set it up for you! After your $750 retainer, I can split the remaining balance into up to 5 payments for you.
Do you offer packages for smaller weddings or elopements?
I can create a custom package for you if you only need a few hours of coverage. I always recommend a minimum of 3 hours. In three hours, we can take photos of your first look, bridal party, ceremony, and family formals. I only book hourly wedding packages within 3 months of your wedding date.
