The WEdding Experience

Best Day Ever

There are so many sweet moments ahead of you- from finding the perfect venue, to saying "yes" to your dress, to asking your best friends to stand by your side. This is such a short, beautiful season, and it all leads to one of the most important days of your life, your wedding day.

While this season began with a proposal, your story began before he even started looking at rings, and it will continue after your wedding day. Your wedding day isn't the end of a season, it's the beginning of a life together. Imagine cuddling up together on your first anniversary, thumbing through your wedding album, remembering how he looked at you in that first moment together, and reliving it together because it's right there in front of you. Now imagine turning those same pages with weathered hands to show your grandchildren one day. Such a beautiful story deserves to be preserved for generations to come. Let me help you tell your story.

As someone who married her high school sweetheart, I believe your marriage is something beautiful, something to be cherished. Your wedding is more than just day or a party. It's the joining of families, the exchanging of vows, and the celebration of one of God's greatest gifts to us. I don't take my part in that lightly. I love being a witness to your story, and creating images that tell it in an authentic way. From your engagement session to the wedding day, I want to earn your friendship and trust, so that you can be completely comfortable in front of my camera. I am so excited to serve you and celebrate with you!

You hate being on camera. Don't worry, most people do. The good news is, I'll walk you through it all! We'll start with an engagement session to get to know each other. This is a HUGE help in getting you relaxed in front of the camera on your wedding day. I'll show you how to stand and where to look. You won't have to think about a thing. I promise to smile at you, listen to you, and leaving you saying "well that was fun!"

These are the photos you'll be showing your children and grandchildren one day! You should still be excited to pull out your wedding album and remember your day, even 40 years from now. I strive to cultivate a timeless style that will age beautifully with your marriage. I can also help you create an heirloom album that you can share with your loved ones for generations to come.

You don't need just another vendor, you need a friend. I want to hear your planning victories, and I want you to feel comfortable the moment I walk in the door on the big day. We'll be in consistent communication throughout the process, and that will start with a booking gift as soon as you sign your contract. It's full of information that will help you plan your day with your photos in mind. I can't wait to be friends!

I'm so excited!

What's the best thing about working with you?

Creating beautiful, timeless, heirloom images is my main goal for every one of my clients. That's what you're here for! However, my favorite part of this job is building a relationship with you. My clients often become friends! I want you to have a fun, stress-free experience at your engagement session and on your wedding day, and part of that is helping you feel confident in front of the camera through a strong relationship with me.

What is included in your packages?

Digital images are included in every package (typically 50-75 per hour of coverage). Full day packages also include a complimentary engagement session, booking gift, and bridal planning magazine! If you'd like more details, get in touch and I'll send you my full guide.

What should I expect to invest in your services?

I offer full-day (8 hour) packages starting at $2500. I also offer some hourly packages (wedding date must be within 3 months of booking).

What type of lighting do you use?

While I prefer to work with natural light for portraits, I am confident with off-camera lighting for indoor "getting ready" photos and reception images. I try not to use any lighting for the ceremony because I find it distracting to the couple and guests.

Do you travel?

I LOVE to travel!! I'm located in the Lake Martin area, so if you're more than 35 miles away, we can discuss any necessary travel accommodations.

Where can I find out more?
